Toonami Faithful Podcast #149 – We Got Our Davy Back Ribs

In this episode we recap KILL la KILL, Sword Art Online and InuYasha and have a long overdue gush session for One Piece in which we detail the many things we like about the series.

In KILL la KILL, the tri-city raid trip comes to a climax as a Pimp Named Takarada unleashes the best that money can buy and we finally get another fight between Satsuki and Ryuko. In Sword Art Online, the Bullet of Bullets tournament has begun and Kirito trolls all the fellas. Lastly in InuYasha: The Final Act, Naraku is up to his old tricks again and we all wonder why they spent most of the 4th to last episode on so much talking.

Also Sketch is back, can you tell he was sleep deprived during the recording session?

Your hosts this week also include Darrell Maddox, Jim Nelson and Jenn.

You know what’s odd? … Marc Diraison voiced Kayabe, the creator of SAO, in Sword Art Online! Up til then, I thought he was exclusively a New York actor!

God, but those bleeps are loud. Do they need to be that loud? I feel like it’s very disproportionate to the volume of the mics, especially Darrell’s.
